I started my business, Sabrina’s Spells and Crystals, in 2020 after going through a huge life transformation and finding myself again through spirituality, creativity, and witchcraft. I found solace through my practice, and my mission is to be able to help others in the same way by providing metaphysical tools for my customers, custom spell work, spiritual guidance, spreading knowledge about ethical witchcraft, and by being open and authentic about my own healing journey and creative practices. I am deeply committed to helping women, victims, neurodivergent individuals and vulnerable groups of people find strength, healing and connection through my craft and my artwork. Although this is my primary focus, my overall goal is to help anyone whois struggling andseeking spiritual guidance.
My business is a combination of products, services, and processes. I make products like essential oil rollers which are made with ethically sourced crystals and therapeutic grade essential oils. I also make mini spell jars with intentions, love, and care. Additionally, I sell my artwork as prints. I also sell ethically sourced and high-quality crystals. My business is Eco-Pgh approved which means that my products are low waste, my packaging is low waste, my products are cruelty-free and organic, and I educate my customers and clients on the environment and ethical sourcing.
I provide services like custom spell work and tarot card readings. My custom spell work includes services like cord-cuttings, justice workings, baneful magic, love rituals, and abundance and money magic. I also host in person events like spell jar making classes, rituals, and sound baths. I love to teach others how to channel their own energies and create magic on their own, therefore some of my services can be affordable to people who want to learn from me and then practice on their own.
Additionally, I create artwork that channels my energy, emotions, and magic. My artwork is rooted in my healing journey, spirituality, and connection to my ancestors. It is a helpful tool for me to process my emotions and to be vulnerable. My work symbolizes the cycles of trauma, resilience, and renewal. It embodies the truth that even when life tries to extinguish the light, a flicker can survive, and in time, grow into a flame. My artwork celebrates the courage it takes not only to survive, but to reclaim joy, power, and purpose. By sharing my story, I hope to remind others who have endured similar struggles that they are not alone. Outside of the pieces of mine that are heavier subjects, I also like to create artwork that brings me joy and I use a lot of colors in my pieces as well. Joy is a very important part of resistance and must not be forgotten when creating. I believe that the use of color is also extremely important to spark joy when viewing artwork. The shift away from color in our society is closely linked to the rise in fascism and decrease in diversity. It is so important to celebrate life even when times are difficult so hope stays present in our lives.
