Hello! My name is Leslie and I am an acrylic painter. I enjoy creating moody, magical animal paintings inspired by book, music and strange little moments that tell a story. Think dark fantasy meets gothic daydream with bold colors and a hint of coziness.
I have always immensely enjoyed art but I didn’t always create art for a living. I attended college and graduated with my BS degree in Psychology, but in my 30s I was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses and maintaining a full time job became more of a struggle. When I turned 40 I decided to try to turn my passion for art into something that could help me with finances while allowing me the time I needed to take care of myself.
It has been a struggle, but it is also very rewarding. It is amazing to be able to turn something that I am truly passionate about into something that brings joy to others. It is a great honor to be able to provide that joy to others through art.
