Fig & Grove is a BIPOC, woman-owned business founded by Mexican-American maker Claudia Akers. Founded in 2017, Fig & Grove is based in California’s Sierra Foothills, where we handcraft small-batch soaps, candles, and skincare using goat milk, tallow, beer, and botanicals sourced as locally as possible.
Our work is shaped by two worlds: heritage and service. Claudia’s background informs a respect for traditional ingredients and practical beauty, while her husband James—an Air Force veteran—brings a steady, hands-on presence behind the scenes. Together, we believe in clean formulas, essential oil scents, and products made to be used daily, not saved for special occasions.
