This limited-edition 11oz candle is my snarky response to Lord Vader’s branding of our beloved city as a “living hell” that is “burning to the ground.” And just to drive it home, I’m donating 20% of these candle sales to the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition, a local nonprofit organization that defends the rights of immigrants through education, legal support, and its 24/7 rapid response hotline.

THE SCENT: Warm undertones of amber, musk, and vanilla ground this sensual fragrance, highlighted by notes of creamy coconut, aromatic patchouli, and soft floral jasmine. Inspired by cozy season in Portland, it evokes slow, misty mornings… well-worn flannel… a steaming cup of local coffee and a vanilla bean donut. It’s reminiscent of golden autumn leaves crunched underfoot as you stroll along neighborhood sidewalks to wander through your favorite bookstore. It’s a crisp afternoon walk with your dog, followed by snuggling into your favorite blanket by the fire. (Oh, and it definitely smells like resistance!)


THE VESSEL: Each candle is hand-poured with pure soy wax into a beautiful 11oz teal glass tumbler and features an FSC-certified crackling wood wick for cozy ambiance.
