Suggested Use: Take one teaspoon per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. It is best to start with a small amount and gradually increase to the full amount to avoid detox reactions. It can be mixed into any cold food or beverage.

This chlorella is much, much more potent than traditional pond-grown chlorella. It’s very important that you start with a low dosage, 1/5 a teaspoon of powder or less, and gradually increase it to your desired dosage to avoid a detox reaction, even if you have been taking chlorella in the past.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.

Warning: Should be taken at least two hours apart from medications. People with hemochromatosis and phenylketonuria should not take chlorella because of its iron and protein content.

Most chlorella is grown in outdoor ponds in Asia. When it rains, significant amounts of pollution often end up in the ponds. As chlorella bioaccumulates contaminants, outdoor pond-grown chlorella often contains significant pollutants. In addition, much of the surface water used in the ponds contains contaminants from the local environment.

Chlorella should be grown indoors in glass tubes, using only sunshine and water extracted from deep underground.

Are the bag packages climate-neutral?

They source their packaging from a packaging service provider that is climate neutral. This means that it has determined its emissions and knows what is known as the CO₂ footprint.
